Hepatic artery aneurysm.
We describe a 58 year old woman who had an aneurysm involving the common hepatic artery, the right and left hepatic arteries and the cystic artery which had ruptured into the liver. It was successfully treated by proximal ligation. The features and management of hepatic artery aneurysm are discussed.

The diagnosis of intrahepatic aneurysm was suspected following radioisotope scintigraphic studies. A patient developed abdominal pain following blunt abdominal trauma. The scintigrams of the liver revealed a large intrahepatic defect and separation between lung and liver. Angiogram revealed a large false aneurysm of the right hepatic artery.

False Aneurysms are uncommon in the pediatric population. We report a case of false aneurysm of the common femoral artery (CFA) after accidental arterial puncture, during a phlebotomy for blood sample. The lesion was surgically resected and arterial continuity restored by end to end anastomosis. The postoperative course was uneventful.
